This game....really is something, especially the open interpretations in the ending...I think it could be that Birdy was once Leah or something (probably like a troubled childhood), and Leah probably killed herself to stop that past? *shrug* Also, I thought that the water you collect after the fire just turned red, could resemble blood or something? Like Leah's? Ah well, it's all confusing anyway. Good music though c:
Oh my gosh the fact that you even know of The Mirror Lied is great, but you even drew fanart for it... ;7; I really love that game for whatever reason. It feels so conceptual and although strange, it was amazing u//v//u
Plenty of things. This game has so many interpretations, but one of them could be that Leah killed herself because the 'mirror' lied to her. The mirror usually stands for your alter-ego or an upside-down world. As you know, the world was being destroyed (countries disappearing from the map) and Leah was curious (watering a plant and trying to get outside), but this curiosity killed her because she wasn't able to take in the truth. The birdie could as well be Leah's lost self or something, and it lied to her, because the reality, again, was too hard for her to take in. But there are, like, 100000+ interpretations of this game and just as many reasons why it is called The Mirror Lied. So yeah.
